This HS-12 magnetic stirrer with a hot plate features an enclosed cast aluminum heating surface designed to resist chemical spills and reach a maximum temperature of 280°C. It includes a detachable foot-long support bar with a clamp for the secure positioning of pH probes or thermometers. The unit is equipped with two sturdy control dials for independent adjustment of stirring speed (0-1600 r.p.m.) and temperature. Capable of stirring at least 1 L of water, the device comes with three PTFE magnetic stir bars in assorted sizes: 15 mm (C5/B6), 20 mm (C6/B7), and 25 mm (C6/B8).
