Device for demonstrating Lenz’s rule

SKU LB-P038 Categories ,

Description

This 100 mm tall device is designed to demonstrate the interaction between a magnet and rings by comparing a solid, closed loop with a slotted ring. It features a dielectric beam with rings of identical diameter and width at each end, one of which includes a slit to highlight differences in magnetic flux behavior. The beam is balanced at rest on a central fixture, which mounts onto a stand with a base to ensure smooth rotation. During operation, it effectively illustrates the motion of the solid ring when influenced by a magnetic field.
