Description
The LABOTRIX GLASSWARE C1 is a set of laboratory glassware and equipment for demonstration experiments in chemistry lessons at educational institutions. The teacher uses the set to explain chemical phenomena, processes and the properties of substances in front of the class. It is applied in the teaching of both inorganic and organic chemistry and lets students observe the basic chemical reactions and phenomena and take in the theory more easily.
The set brings together 55 items: an extended range of laboratory glassware made of chemically resistant and heat-resistant glass, metal and porcelain auxiliary equipment, electronic scales for measuring mass, and a device for demonstrating the conductivity of solutions, so it covers a wide span of demonstration experiments in inorganic and organic chemistry provided for by the school curriculum. The measuring cylinder with a spout holds 100 ml; tall laboratory beakers hold 50 ml and 100 ml and low beakers 250 ml; graduated conical flasks hold 50 ml, 100 ml and 250 ml, and heat-resistant flat-bottom flasks 250 ml. Test tubes with flared and with even rims measure d16-21 mm by h150-200 mm; bottles with a stopper and a cap hold 50 ml; heat-resistant funnels measure d60 and d75 mm by h110-130 mm; the cylindrical separating funnel holds 60 ml and the chemically resistant dropper bottle 30 ml. Watch glasses are 45 mm in diameter, glass stirring rods 200 mm long, the porcelain mortar with a pestle 60 mm in diameter, the porcelain evaporating dish 50 ml, Pasteur pipettes 3 ml and 5 ml, test tube racks carry 6, 10 and 20 holes, and filter paper discs are 90 mm in diameter. Marking and operating documentation are in Ukrainian, the product carries the trade mark, the model and a space for an inventory number, the service life is 5 years and the warranty period is 12 months. Each piece is held in its own socket of a foam insert to protect the glass, and the set is kept in two plastic storage boxes in the laboratory assistant’s room or the chemistry classroom.

The set is equipped for the demonstration experiments of the school chemistry course without further purchase of equipment; reagents are bought separately according to the curriculum, and batteries for the electronic scales and the conductivity demonstration device, as well as calibration weights, are not part of the set.
Together with the product the school receives the right of access to an online teaching support course hosted in a learning management system and designed for 70 academic hours of lessons, compiled for the current curricula of general secondary education institutions of Ukraine. The material is grouped into research modules in physics, biology, chemistry and STEM, and every topic contains a lesson plan, a list of the equipment required, a scenario for running the experiment, a step by step instruction for the laboratory work with an explanation of the expected result, a video demonstration of working techniques, and interactive exercises and tasks for independent study, suitable both for individual and for group work. All modules are written for this same equipment and have been tested on it, so the course follows a direct chain from equipment to method to learning results. Work with the course develops attention, logical and visual thinking and creative ability, while joint research tasks build cooperation skills.
The kit includes an AI assistant built into the learning management system on retrieval-augmented generation. It selects research tasks and experiments matching the topic of the lesson, describes the procedure of the experiment step by step, identifies typical student errors and gives personalised recommendations for correcting them, adapts task difficulty to different levels of student preparation, supports students in compiling reports on research results and in structuring the conclusions drawn from experiments, and works on a localised knowledge base aligned with the national curriculum of Ukraine. The licence for the course and the software is valid for 12 months; content, interface and learning materials are in Ukrainian. The assistant answers on the topic of the lesson, sets out the sequence of actions, goes through the typical mistakes of students and suggests how to correct them, while the level of task difficulty is set to match the preparation of the class.
The set is operated by a chemistry teacher or a laboratory assistant who has been briefed on occupational safety for work with chemical reagents and heating equipment, and demonstrations are held in a classroom with fume hoods or a well-ventilated room where students observe from a safe distance. Glassware with cracks or chips is not used; safety goggles are worn when working with hot glassware and during heating, and protective gloves when handling aggressive or corrosive substances, hot solutions and broken glass. Vessels are placed on the stand so that the flame of the spirit lamp covers the lower third of the vessel, hot glassware is carried only on a metal tray and is left to cool naturally, and the spirit lamp is extinguished with its cap and never with water. It is forbidden to leave a lit spirit lamp unattended, to heat a vessel closed with a stopper that prevents gas from escaping, to eat or drink in the room where experiments are carried out, and to let students handle reagents or hot equipment directly. The product is used only under the control and supervision of a teaching member of staff; the recommended age of students is from 10 years, that is grade 5 and above. After each experiment the glassware is washed with hot water and detergent using a brush, metal parts are wiped dry at once, and the electronic scales are wiped only with a dry soft cloth. The set is stored in a dry closed room at a temperature from +5 °C to +40 °C and a relative humidity of 80 % without condensation, away from dust, direct sunlight and vibration.
