A teacher’s set of heat-resistant laboratory glassware, accessories, reagents and physiology aids for biology demonstrations and practical lessons in general secondary schools, supplied with a 70-hour digital course in an LMS and a built-in AI assistant.

Description

This teacher’s set of laboratory glassware and accessories is intended for demonstrations and practical biology lessons in general secondary schools, in particular at the biology teacher’s workstation. The glassware and accessories are used for observing biological objects, preparing solutions, heating liquids, taking simple measurements and carrying out other practical work during science lessons. The glassware is made of heat-resistant and chemically resistant glass with high optical transparency, and the sizes are chosen for demonstration in front of a class, so that the course of an experiment is clearly visible from any point in the room.

The product is manufactured under the Labotrix trade mark, model Glassware B1, full trade designation LABOTRIX GLASSWARE B1, by Labotrix Group Limited, China. The glass has increased surface hardness that resists scratching in ordinary use and is chemically inert to acids, alkalis and salt solutions. The set operates indoors in an educational institution at an air temperature of +5 to +40 °C and a relative humidity of 40 to 60 % without condensation, and withstands storage at a relative humidity of 80 % at +25 °C. Marking and operating documentation are in Ukrainian, and the marking carries the trade mark, the model and a space for an inventory number. The items are supplied clean, ready for use and packed in the cells of a moulded lodgement inside plastic containers that hold the contents in place, so no assembly is required; the set is placed on the biology teacher’s demonstration table. The service life is 5 years and the warranty period is 12 months.

The product is supplied with the right of access to an online teaching support course hosted in a learning management system (LMS) and designed for 70 academic hours of lessons. The course follows the current curricula of general secondary education institutions of Ukraine, and its materials are grouped into research modules in physics, biology, chemistry and STEM; each topic contains a lesson plan, a list of the equipment required, a scenario for conducting the experiment, a step-by-step instruction for the laboratory work with an explanation of the expected result, a video demonstration of working techniques, and interactive exercises and assignments for independent study, suitable for both individual and group work. All modules are written for this equipment and tested on it, so the course follows a direct chain from equipment to methodology to learning outcomes. The kit includes an AI assistant built into the learning management system on retrieval-augmented generation. It selects research tasks and experiments matching the topic of the lesson, describes the procedure of the experiment step by step, identifies typical student errors and gives personalised recommendations for correcting them, adapts task difficulty to different levels of student preparation, supports students in compiling reports on research results and in structuring the conclusions drawn from experiments, and works on a localised knowledge base aligned with the national curriculum of Ukraine. The licence for the course and the software is valid for 12 months; content, interface and learning materials are in Ukrainian.

Work with the set is organised by the biology teacher, and students work under adult supervision; the recommended age of learners is from 10 years, that is grade 5 and above. Before the first use the glassware is inspected for cracks and chips, washed with warm water and a neutral detergent, dried and placed on the demonstration table so that it is visible from every seat and secured against falling. Damaged glassware is withdrawn from use and disposed of as glass cullet, since glassware cannot be repaired. Liquids are heated gradually on a stable support to avoid splashing, hot vessels are handled with holders and allowed to cool before washing, and sudden temperature changes are avoided because they crack the glass. Flammable liquids are kept away from open flame and hot surfaces, and hot glassware is never left unattended near students. The set is stored in a dry closed room at +5 to +40 °C and a relative humidity of 80 % at +25 °C without condensation, in cabinets or on shelves with soft dividers, with large and small items kept apart and protected from dust and aggressive vapours.
