Laboratory Stand “Automotive Ignition Systems and Generators”
$5,828.00
This stand focuses on the operation and testing of automotive ignition systems and generators. Users can explore various ignition technologies and their applications in vehicle engines.
The stand is a panel that displays a structural diagram of a generator set that can be switched using jumpers. The measurement system includes pointer devices for measuring:
- Currents of the battery
- Generator currents
- Load currents
- Excitation current of the generator
- Frequency of rotation of the generator
The excitation current of the generator can be supplied either from the standard voltage regulator of the generator or from an additional regulator of the excitation current. The load of the generator set is adjustable within 0–360 W.
The stand includes:
- A battery
- Generator with an integral voltage regulator driven by an electric motor with adjustable rotation frequency (0–4000 rpm)
- Elements of contact, induction, and contactless ignition systems, including ignition distributors, inductance coils, high-voltage wires, and spark plugs
The spark plugs are installed in a high-pressure chamber (0–8 atm) with a transparent wall for monitoring the spark formation process. An automatic pulse charger is included in the technical documentation intended for teaching staff.

1. Product Introduction
The car charging system demonstration board utilizes an actual car charging system to fully demonstrate the structure and working process of the system. It is suitable for teaching the theory and maintenance training of car starting systems in educational institutions.
2. Functional Characteristics
- Realistic Charging System: A functional and operable charging system that fully demonstrates the structure of a car charging system.
- Operational Demonstration: Turning on the ignition switch triggers the three-phase motor, driving the generator to work. The charging indicator light goes out, and the battery terminal voltage increases, effectively demonstrating the charging process. Charging current and battery voltage values can be observed through the ammeter and voltmeter on the panel.
- High-Quality Panel: The teaching board panel is made of high-grade aluminum-plastic plate resistant to impact, pollution, fire, and moisture. The surface is specially treated with primer spraying, and the panel features a color circuit diagram that never fades. Students can intuitively compare the circuit diagram with the actual components to understand and analyze the working principle of the car charging system.
- Generator Components Display: The decomposed components of the generator are installed on the teaching board panel, allowing intuitive understanding of the generator’s structure.
- Detection Terminals: The panel is equipped with detection terminals to directly detect electrical signals of various circuit components on the panel, such as resistance, voltage, current, and frequency signals.
- Robust Construction: The panel adopts a 1.5 mm cold plate stamping structure with an attractive appearance. The chassis is welded from steel structures, the surface is sprayed, and it is equipped with self-locking casters. The base includes a desktop of about 40 cm, convenient for placing materials and light detection instruments.
